Why is it so hard, I’m scared and I have doubt.

I can not do it alone. I need you to help me out.

Failure lies behind me, but it tends to hold me back.

I don’t have much to offer, I’m a loser, it’s a fact.

Too often I make no effort, sad but it’s true.

Taking you for granted, and the love that comes from you.

How can you love me? How can you even care?

Just look at my life. My sin is everywhere.

Jesus, I need you. Help me build my faith.

Help me see your plan, and believe what you say.

I want to do for you, but I don’t know how.

I’m praying for a miracle, I’m asking for a Wow.

Help me believe, in this time of why.

Let me put my hand in your spear touched side.

Forgive my unbelief, I want to understand.

Let me feel the scars, in your loving hands.
